She had her primary education at Imgbela Primary School Odi, Bayelsa State from 1977 to 1982 and got her First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).
Thereafter, she attended the famous Government Girls Secondary School Harbour Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State between 1983 and 1987 and passed her West Africa Examination Certificate (WAEC/GCE). In 1988, She was at the Rivers Sports Institute Isaka, Rivers state too.
Then from 1991 to 1994, she was at the Rivers State College of Education, Port Harcourt, Rivers State and bagged her NCE in SOS/English. Still not satisfied, she went further to earn a B.Ed degree in English at the same Rivers State College of Education, Port Harcourt, Rivers State from 1995 to 1998.
