Athletes representing Bayelsa State has continued to put up spectacular performances at this year’s National Para-games. With less that 24 hours to the end of the games , it is visually clear that Bayelsa is likely to be crowned champions .
As at the time of filling this report, Bayelsa has increased its medal tally on day 5 of the games. Para-athletics and para-Table tennis raked in 7 more gold medals today , bringing Team Bayelsa total gold medals haul to 39.
It will be recalled that Team Bayelsa won the inaugural edition of the games in 2023 and are likely to retain their title when the games finally come to a close on Thursday 14th December,2023.
