The 10th edition of the Zainab Saleh International Female Open Karate Championship will be held from Friday, October 18th to Monday, October 21st, 2024, at the Dr. Molade Okoya Thomas Hall, Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos, Nigeria. Supported by the Karate Federation of Nigeria (KFN), this event encourages female karate participation in Nigeria and neighboring countries, aiming to develop the technical skills of female karatekas and foster camaraderie.

The championship is a KFN-ranking event, featuring individual and team competitions in Kumite and Kata, following World Karate Federation (WKF) rules. Categories range from under-12 to senior-level competitions, with a registration fee of N500 per event per individual. Participants are required to adhere to WKF kata lists, and repeated katas are not allowed.

The championship offers a platform for skill improvement and community building, recognizing the passion and dedication of the athletes in each edition.
