Solanke’s journey began with impressive performances at the cadet and junior levels. In 2016, he won a silver medal at the World Cadet Championship, marking his arrival on the global scene. His accolades continued with multiple medals at the African Junior Championships in 2017 and 2018, and he showcased his skills in the World Junior Circuit that same year.
Transitioning to senior competitions, Solanke quickly became an essential member of the Nigerian national team. In 2019, he and BYSTTA captain Samuel Boboye finished as runners-up at the Africa Senior Championship in Cameroon. To support their development, BYSTTA plans to provide an NIS-certified coach at NDU for structured training while they pursue their studies.
