Over the course of her remarkable athletic journey, Catherine Ebimiefekemebagha Sasuode’s career has extended beyond three decades, covering a span of more than 30 years.
HER COACH:
Gymnastics lessons were provided by Coach Princewill during her time in old Rivers State, Nigeria, while Coach Marshall was responsible for teaching her Taekwondo.
SPORTING CAREER:
Her journey in sports commenced during her time in Primary school in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. She was full of energy and enthusiasm during the Rivers ’88 Festival’s opening ceremony, where she participated in lively calisthenics displays.
REASON FOR TAKING UP THE SPORT:
Back then, she was extremely energetic and hyperactive, and her greatest inspiration was Grace Jones. She aspired to be like her and drew immense motivation from her.
